Chongqing Chicken Pot is a unique dish that originated from Chongqing, China. Chongqing Chicken Pot is a bit of a twist on the traditional hot pot. Diners order a big stir-fry, and then after that meal is finished, broth is added to deglaze the pot and more ingredients can be added to make it a hot pot.

A variety of different “pots” will be on offer at Chongqing, including the namesake chicken pot that’s loaded with “superior” chicken, red pepper, onion, celery, cilantro, and “special chicken pot sauce.” There’s also a frog pot loaded with tons of chiles, and a garlic pork ribs pot that’s stocked with potatoes, peppers, and cilantro.
