Dak & Bop

Houston's Korean fried chicken/Asian fusion foodie destination.

From their website:

Dak & Bop, as a brand, is a local, independently owned restaurant and when you visit our location, you will see Houston influences. Our owners were born and raised in Alief, Texas, and are life-long Houstonians.

Dak & Bop in Korean translates as Chicken & Rice. But as many of our customers and fans have come to realize, we are more than just chicken and rice! We are a Korean-influenced concept that blends traditional and authentic ingredients with a modern twist and flair.

Whether you are grabbing a quick lunch or a night out with friends, Dak & Bop 18th Street is excited to bring you a fresh outlook to the dining experience!

From Asia Society's Director of Development Jenni Rebecca Stephenson:

I highly recommend Dak & Bop's medium spicy chicken strips. When I lived closer, I used to visit once a week, because their friend chicken was so addictive. The truffle-parmesan fries with bulgogi are also out of this world!
