Authentic Indopak Cuisine

By Saleena Jafry

Aga’s serves Indian and Pakistani cuisine, some would think of it as a “hole in the wall” kinda restaurant. It has long lines especially on weekends, and the wait time can range from 10 minutes to a couple of hours despite the restaurant’s capacity of 200+. It is located conveniently off of Hwy 59 on Wilcrest, and has gained popularity in recent years after it changed management and redesigned the restaurant and their entire menu.

My favorite items at Aga’s are:

Bhel Puri: Freshly prepared Bombay street snack of rice flakes mixed with fresh onions, sev, peanuts and tomatoes with sweet tamarind chutney and mint sauce.

Grilled Goat Chops: The best I have had in town!

Chicken BiryaniTraditional Pakistani dish made with seasoned long-grain rice layered with chicken cooked in a thick gravy.
