Fresh, Flavorful, Vegan-Friendly Vietnamese Food

By Mei Qi

Café TH is a homegrown Vietnamese restaurant with a tiny storefront in EaDo that has my favorite cha gio (fried rice rolls) – available in vegan or pork options – that’s crunchy, flavorful, and best fresh! Wrap up your roll in some crunchy lettuce and enjoy the dipping sauce that comes with your order. Of course they serve great vermicelli, fried rice, and noodle soups as well. And don't forget the banh mi! Bread that's crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and filled to the brim with fresh cilantro and jalapeno and your protein of choice.

As a note, this place is fantastic for vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. Their tofu is so tasty I often prefer it to chargrilled pork or chicken in my banh mi (or try half-tofu, half-chicken!). Plus owner Minh is incredibly friendly, there's great coffee options, and there’s local art on the walls! A great local business to support.
