Of the countless restaurants in Houston, I chose Pasha Turkish Restaurant because of its homey setting and cozy atmosphere, its friendly and conscientious owners, and of course its fantastic traditional Turkish cuisine and varied menu, which I can only find there.
Located across from Houston’s Rice University, I have been going to Pasha regularly for years and have developed a friendship with Mustafa and Zehra Oszoy, who personally manage every activity at the restaurant, from the kitchen to the dining area. It seemed only natural in these very challenging times to support them as best as I can and help to spread the word.
As I worked on the video, it was so inspiring to learn more about the Oszoys and their restaurant’s unique story.
A very special thanks to Mustafa and Zehra Oszoy for opening their doors!
